This Privacy Policy explains how Recollection LLC (“Recollection LLC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the mobile game Mad Mazed: Maze Escape (the “App”) and the website at madmazed.com (the “Site”, and together with the App, the “Services”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who we are
The Services are operated by Recollection LLC. Recollection LLC is the controller responsible for the limited information processed through the Services. You can reach us any time at support@madmazed.com.
2. Information we collect
We are intentionally minimal in what we collect.
Information stored on your device. Your level progress, stars, best times, selected friend, and settings are saved locally on your device. This information stays on the device and is not transmitted to us. It is removed if you delete the App.
Information collected automatically by third parties. When you use the App, our third-party providers (such as advertising and analytics services) may automatically receive limited technical information, which can include a device advertising identifier, IP address, device model and operating system version, general (coarse, non-precise) location inferred from IP address, app version, and interaction or crash diagnostics. This processing is governed by those providers’ own privacy policies (see Section 6).
Information you choose to give us. If you email us for support or feedback, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to respond and to improve the Services.
We do not ask for your name, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location, and we do not require you to create an account.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
- To save and restore your progress on your device.
- To display advertising and to support optional in-app purchases.
- To understand aggregate, non-identifying usage so we can fix bugs and design better levels.
- To respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Services.
- To protect the Services, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Advertising
The App may display advertisements served through Google AdMob and its partners. To deliver and measure ads, these providers may process a device advertising identifier and the technical information described in Section 2. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your device settings and consent. Rewarded ads, where offered, are optional and never reduce your stars or your time.
You can limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier in your device settings (for example, “Limit Ad Tracking” / “Personalized ads” on iOS, or “Ads” in Google settings on Android). 5. Purchases
The App is free to download and may offer optional in-app purchases (for example, to remove ads or unlock convenience features). All purchases are processed by the applicable app store — the Apple App Store or Google Play — under that store’s terms and privacy policy. Recollection LLC does not collect, receive, or store your payment card number, billing address, or other full payment details; the app store handles the transaction and shares only limited confirmation information with us. Any refunds are subject to the applicable app store’s policies.
6. Third-party services
We rely on trusted third parties to run the Services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob (advertising) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Apple App Store (distribution & purchases) — apple.com/legal/privacy
- Google Play (distribution & purchases) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Firebase / Google (site hosting and, where enabled, analytics and crash reporting) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with these providers as needed to run the Services, when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition).
7. Children’s privacy
Mad Mazed is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@madmazed.com and we will delete it.
8. Data retention
On-device game data remains until you delete the App or clear it. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you and maintain our records. Information processed by third-party providers is retained according to their policies.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information, and we minimize what is collected in the first place. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings, decline or clear on-device data by deleting the App, and contact us with any privacy request. If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you can change or withdraw your ad-consent choice at any time in the App under Settings → Ad privacy. Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email support@madmazed.com; we will respond as required by applicable law.
11. International users
We operate the Services from the United States. If you use the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
